We have restored access to the majority of datasets that were offline during the maintenance. As our main production is still recovering from the maintenance we expect normal service to return on Tuesday March 25. In the meantime some of the long MEPS/Arome archives will remain with a short time span on thredds.met.no as the archives need to be updated before we can expose them. Thank you for your patience during this maintenance.

Update
We have experienced access issues to certain datasets that contain huge files, since the start of the maintenance. These problems may result in interrupted downloads when using opendap extractions. After a config change around 15 UTC on March 17. the problem has been reduced, but not fully solved. Work is in progress to find a solution to this problem.

A hardware maintenance is scheduled from March 17. until March 24. This will cause many datasets on thredds.met.no to be unavailable during the maintenance. It mostly affects "Users", "Projects" and long timeseries in archives, while our weather/ocean forecasts shall remain online. In particular the long dataseries under "Weather forecasts" ("MEPS Archive/", "AROME Arctic archive/", "MET post-processed products/ Archive + Long term consistent", etc.) will remain unavailable during the maintenance.
