Hardware maintenance affecting data access on thredds.met.no ("storeB") Mar 17, 2025 07:45 - Mar 24, 2025 11:45 CET
A hardware maintenance is scheduled from March 17. until March 24. This will cause many datasets on thredds.met.no to be unavailable during the maintenance. It mostly affects "Users", "Projects" and long timeseries in archives, while our weather/ocean forecasts shall remain online.
In particular the long dataseries under "Weather forecasts" ("MEPS Archive/", "AROME Arctic archive/", "MET post-processed products/ Archive + Long term consistent", etc.) will remain unavailable during the maintenance.

Access issues for some datasets on thredds.met.no
Resolved - The root cause has now been identified and corrected. All datasets should now be available again. Our apologies for the long duration of this incidence.

Investigating - After the anomalies on 2025-02-17 we have discovered that there are a few datasets that have access issues on thredds.met.no. We are trying to identify the root cause, but users may experience that the following datasets are currently unavailable or give error messages :
Projects/Cryo, Projects/FINIS, Projects/Nansen_LEGACY, Projects/Northern_Forest, Projects/Retrospect and some datasets under "User areas".
Our priority weather/ocean forecasts are not affected by this problem.
