Storage maintenance affecting data access on thredds.met.no ("storeB")

Note that the maintenance has been postponed one week due to severe weather warning in Norway this week!
MET will perform maintenance work on the storage system between September 17. and September 19. A number of datasets will be unavailable on thredds.met.no from approx. 08:00 CEST and is likely to last at least two days. This mostly affects datasets under "Projects" and "User areas", and depends on where data is stored. It will also affect a large part of the "Archives" that will become unavailable. Our priority weather observations/forecasts shall not be affected (except for "Archives").

AROME-Arctic EPS file change on September 24th

Please note that this update has been postponed one week
We are introducing more ensemble members to the AROME-Arctic EPS system. Thus the lagged ensemble files for MET AROME Arctic will change name and structure.
The following files will no longer be produced:
arome_arctic_lagged_12_h_subset_2_5km_yyyymmddThhZ.nc
arome_arctic_lagged_12_h_latest_2_5km_latest.nc

Important: Updates to MEPS and AROME-Arctic archive and cleaning

As previously stated here, we need to enforce cleaning of the MEPS archive. At the same time, we introduce the same archive regime in AROME-Arctic as in MEPS.
The cleaning regime will be in effect from Tuesday 10th December 2024.
This effects data under MEPS archive on thredds and AROME-Arctic archive on thredds
