December 1st 2022 the Barents-2.5km v1 will be terminated, and a corresponding product from the ensemble system Barents-2.5km-EPS (Barents-2.5km v2) will replace it. This includes changes in path and filenames, but the content of the files will be very similar to the current model product. The parallel production has been in place since 2021-09, but as v1 will be terminated shortly we ask that everyone prepare their downstream production now.
Summary of changes: 1. File names and paths will change 2. Model changes going from v1 to v2 3. Changes in the projection variable 4. Version 2.0 is updated with the newest Arome-Arctic product every 6th hour (00h, 06h, 12h, 18h bulletin times), compared to a single daily update in version 1.0
