Update
It has now been a week since the test started, and we've still not received any reports of problems from users. The deprecation is proceeding as planned.

MET Norway deprecates unencrypted http access to thredds.met.no. We're requiring TLSv1.2+ in accordance with current security recommendations. Please rewrite your downloading scripts to use https (and upgrade your TLS library, eg. openssl, if needed) in order to ensure continued access.
We've just completed test period of 24 hours with temporary redirects. One issue was discovered with a python library that didn't handle the redirects gracefully, however this was quickly fixed by the impacted user who upgraded to use https-URLs directly. Please provide any feedback as soon as possible (see complete info and link to feedback form on https://thredds.met.no)
