MET Norway deprecates unencrypted http access to thredds.met.no. We're expecting that older software libraries will experiencing problems with modern TLS. We're requiring TLSv1.2+ in accordance with current security recommendations. Please rewrite your downloading scripts to use https (and upgrade your TLS library, eg. openssl) in order to ensure continued access.
As a first step we will temporarily for 24 hours redirect unencrypted http requests to encrypted access via https, so that users can get a heads up before we turn off unencrypted access permanently.
